We hope you have all had a good Christmas, it's been a bit unfortunate we have all had a very slow start to the year. I think everyone is now getting a bit fed up of the white stuff.

We have some new and exciting things happening this year. We are going to hold a summer championship show in September. You will need to qualify for this show by getting two scores of 60% or above at the same level, between February and August 2010. You can enter the qualifying shows as a non-member but you will need to be a member by August 2010 to entitle you to compete in the championship show. This year we are only going to run Intro, Prelim, Novice and Elementary classes at the championship show. We will run all of the usual levels at the rest of the shows.

On championship day we will run two classes at each level thus providing a warm up class at each level. There will be no points awarded towards the end of season trophies at the championship show. We will award sashes and trophies to the winners of the championship classes.

Remember the more classes you enter between February and August the more chances you will have of qualifying!! Good Luck.

The Christmas show turned out to be a lovely day, eventually. It absolutely poured down for the whole night prior to the  show, so we were very lucky to hold it! Thank you to all the people who made such a lot of effort with the fancy dress, it does make it all look lovely.

Due to so much support  in the Intro class we have decided to make it a point class in line with the other classes. Only members will be able to gain points towards the end of season trophies, also there will only be an open section.

Finally, could members please check the rules regarding leaving horses tied up to lorries and trailers on show days. Please do not leave them unattended as this can be extremely dangerous if they break free.
