Points are awarded for being placed in competitions and as well as determining which section a rider competes in count towards the club championships. Veteran horse points are awards to horse and rider combinations where the horse is rising 15 at the start of the season. If you wish to enter this competition please ensure you tick the Veteran box on the competition entry form.

A special rosette is also awarded to each horse and rider combination that are promoted out of the restricted sections.

Points are awards for the following competition performances:

• 8 points are awarded for finishing in 1^st place.
• 7 points are awarded for finishing in 2^nd place.
• 6 points are awarded for finishing in 3^rd place.
• 5 points are awarded for finishing in 4^th place.
• 4 points are awarded for finishing in 5^th place.
• 3 points are awarded for finishing in 6^th place.
• 2 points are awarded for finishing in 7^th place.
• 1 points are awarded for finishing in 8^th place.
