The new Summer Championship Show is held at the end of the summer to add little bit of something extra to the club calendar. It is run completely independently of the main championships that are run throughout the course of the season. To enter the Summer Championship you must qualify by obtaining minimum percentage scores during shows held earlier in the season.
The qualifying rules are as follows:
- To enter a particular class you obtain two scores of 60% or above in that class at shows held earlier in the season.
- Qualifying shows are any Hinckley Dressage show held between February and August.
- You do not need to be a member of Hinckley Dressage to qualify for the Championship Show.
- You must be a member of Hinckley Dressage before the end of August to be eligible to enter the Championship Show.
- You may enter more than one championship class.
- You should include your championship notices with your entry to the Champioship Show.
Championship classes will be held for Intro, Prelim, Novice and Elementary. You do not need to qualify for the warm up classes on champioship day.
Sashes and trophies will be awarded to the winners at the Championship Show.
None of the classes held at the Championship Show will accumulate points towards the end of season championships.
