Competitions are run under British Dressage rules with the addition of the following club rules:

1. In order to ensure safety whilst working in the number of horses allowed in the working in area at any one time is restricted to 4.
2. Pass left hand to left hand when meeting another rider coming in the opposite direction unless he/she is in counter canter in which case you should give way by circling.
3. Make tack adjustments outside the arena if possible or near the middle of the arena but without obstructing the diagonal of centre lines.
4. Announce that you intend to enter an indoor practice area to avoid an accident.
5. Ensure your whip is not so long that it could upset a passing horse.
6. Do not halt or walk in the outside track but always leave room for other riders to pass.
7. Do not lunge in practice areas.
8. Trainers or other pedestrians should not stand in the collecting rings or practice arenas.
