Competition Entries and Working in Rules
Due to the increasing popularity of the monthly shows it has become necessary to limit the number of entries that
can be accepted. This has been done to help ensure that the day starts and finishes at a reasonable time, classes
run as close to time as possible and that everyone has a fun and relaxing day.
Starting from the April show entries will be limited to 65 with places being allocated on a first come first
serve basis to those entries received before the closing date. In the event of the entry limit being reached
priority will be given to members. Late entries will only be accepted if there are still places available.
In order to ensure safety whilst working it has been decided to restrict the number of horses in the working in
area at any one time. At Brooksby this will be limited to 4 horses and at Blaby Mill 5 horses. A running order
will be posted at the entrance to the working in area and the use of numbers will enable competitors to check
when they are permitted to enter the working in area. This will allow a minimum of 28 minutes for each competitor.
